AfricaMechanize is a digital platform dedicated to promoting and supporting Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (SAM) across Africa through enhanced technical Knowledge Management, Information sharing, Networking & Partnerships in Africa. The Platform exists to accelerate and scale Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization across Africa by solving long-standing gaps in data, coordination, access, adoption and knowledge. It is designed as a continental hub that connects farmers, service providers, governments, private sector, development partners, and innovators in the agricultural sphere.

The platform has been developed to support the African Union (AU) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) F-SAMA initiative, with FAO providing technical support and African Conservation Tillage Network (ACT) providing secretariat functions. It is an all-inclusive, not-for profit neutral platform addressing the SAM and developmental interests of all AU Member States with support of the national governments, development partners and private sector. It also contributes to the operationalization of all elements of F-SAMA given the cross-cutting nature of knowledge management.
